Treasury yields are rising after the Democrats’ expected victory in the Senate

The yield on US 10-year Treasury bonds continued to climb above the 1% mark Thursday morning, after the Democrats were expected to win two seats in the Senate in the Georgia run-off election.

Treasury yields extended gains from the previous session, with the Congress after confirmation Joe Biden was elected president Thursday morning.
